Expressions of Interest by 31st July pleaseAt our recent highly successful and great fun AGM in Nelson which we shared with 50+ Apex 40 characters we voted to hold our 2012 AGM in conjunction with the Apex 40 Rort at Hervey Bay above Brisbane.
As this had been discussed for some time I had been starting to plan a tour to continue after the AGM/Rort on up the Queensland Coast to Port Douglas and then fly home direct from Cairns. The basic Itinerary was in all the 41er's bags at Nelson along with the Apex 40 "Bush and Beach" Rort Brochure.
Below you will find the basic Itinerary for this trip and attached is an "Expression of Interest Form" for those of you who are interested in this trip, the Apex 40 Post Rort Tour or just the AGM/Rort .

I have a list of 39 people just from the ones at Convention interested already so please let me know before the end of July if you are interested so I can then get some more detailed planning done.
Having taken 45 of these Aussies and 1 Pom around the South Island for 15 days I can assure you they are great bunch and you will have fun with them!!

Day One 25th May
Fly NZ to Brisbane, on arrival you will be transferred to Hervey Bay
Join Apex 40 ?Bush N Beach? AU$320.00 Registration

Today leave Hervey Bay in Coach or 12 seat vans, Drive to Rockhampton
approx 393Kms (5 & 1/2 hours)
Overnight Rockhampton 1 night
Leave Rockhampton to McKay approx 336 (4hours)
Spend 2 nights McKay ? visit Eungella National Park
Head off to Airlie Beach approx 150kms (2 hours)
Spend 3 nights at Airlie Beach, this will allow you the opportunity to Visit the outer islands or time to relax.
Today head for Townsville approx 348kms (3.5hours)
Stay 2 nights visit Magnetic Island
Head off to Cairns approx 348Kms (4.5 hours)Spend 3 nights in Cairns, time to explore the Atherton Tablelands cable car and train (Barron Falls and the Daintree Reef Tour
