Warmest greetings from across the ditch to all Apex 40 Members
On behalf of 41 Club New Zealand I would like to invite you to come on over and come along to our AGM to be held in Nelson on Sunday 5th of June 2011 and of course the rest of our Convention (Reunion) over Queens Birthday Weekend.
To make this a great trip for you how about adding a tour of the South Island, depending on numbers you could hire cars, mini vans or a coach and driver.
Yes I know it’s a bit colder then but some warm cloths, our stunning winter scenery and meeting up with some of our 41 Clubs along the way will help you forget this sort of minor detail!!!
At this stage I am suggesting that you arrive in Christchurch on Wednesday the 1st May have a tour around our Garden City, spend the night there then travel up the East Coast stopping at Kaikoura on the way for the Thursday night in Blenheim.
Maybe a look at some wineries next morning and then on to Nelson for the Meet and Greet on Friday night and the rest of the weekend of fun and friendship, then after the brunch on Monday the 6th travel onward down the West Coast, through to Queenstown and onward arriving back in Christchurch around the 15th.
A fortnight trip; how does that sound, of course this is very early on for planning but I am very willing to help you with your planning and am open to your suggestions.
I would hope that we can find some home hosting for you in 1 or 2 places along the way.
Our Travel Agent we use for our tours is also very happy to help and I’m sure will be able to get us very good group bookings.
